Apologetics Week 4

Feb 1, 2026    Rev. Garrett Hall

In Week 4 we walk slowly through the historical case for the resurrection of Jesus. We’ll look at the basic facts most historians (Christian and non-Christian) agree on—Jesus’ death by crucifixion, the disciples’ experiences, the empty tomb, and the conversions of people like Paul—and ask, “What explanation actually fits best?” Along the way we’ll talk about common objections (“the disciples made it up,” “they saw a ghost,” “the body was moved”) and why they don’t hold up.

The goal is that you leave this class seeing that Jesus is a real figure in history, that the resurrection is the most reasonable explanation of the evidence, and that trusting Him is not wishful thinking but a grounded step of faith.
