Apologetics Week 2
Everyone already lives inside a “story” about what’s real, what’s wrong, and what will fix it, even if they’ve never used the word worldview. In Week 2, we’ll learn how to listen beneath the surface of common phrases like “follow your heart,” “as long as you’re not hurting anyone,” or “I’m spiritual, not religious,” and identify the assumptions (presuppositions) that shape what people believe.
We’ll zoom in on presuppositional apologetics. Instead of only piling up arguments, we will ask deeper questions like, “What must be true for logic, morality, meaning, and science to make sense at all?” We’ll see why Christianity is not just one belief among many. It is a whole-system explanation of reality, grounded in the triune God who makes rational thought and moral truth possible.
You’ll also get hands-on practice with a short table lab. We’ll take real-world statements people say and learn to spot the worldview underneath them so we can respond with clarity, humility, and gospel hope, not debate energy.
Takeaway: You’ll leave better equipped to hear the story someone is living in and to gently invite them into the true story of the world in Christ.
