Pastor Chris Drum serves as the faithful shepherd of First Baptist Church of Baldwin, leading our congregation with a deep love for God, His Word, and His people. With a passion for expository preaching and a heart for evangelism, Pastor Chris seeks to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ clearly and boldly, equipping believers to grow in their faith and reach the lost.
Rooted in Southern Baptist doctrine, he emphasizes the authority of scripture, the power of prayer, and the importance of discipleship. His messages are biblically sound, relevant, and often filled with practical application for daily life. Whether preaching on Sunday morning, leading a Bible study, or ministering to individuals in need, Pastor Chris strives to follow the example of Christ in both word and action.
Alongside his wife, Chrisy,  Pastor Chris has a deep love for the FBC Baldwin family and the surrounding community. His desire is to see lives transformed by the gospel, marriages strengthened, and believers equipped to live with eternity in view.

Jason Bell serves as the Associate Pastor of Administration and Missional Engagement  at First Baptist Church of Baldwin.
In his administrative and missional role, Jason helps guide the church’s ministry operations with excellence and purpose. He works to strengthen FBC Baldwin’s outreach efforts—mobilizing members to live missionally in their everyday lives, coordinating local and global mission opportunities, and ensuring that the church’s ministries function effectively to support our overall mission of making disciples who make disciples.
As Student Ministry Pastor, Jason leads students in grades 6–12 to grow in their faith and develop a strong foundation in Christ. With a passion for discipling the next generation, he creates a welcoming environment where teens can study God’s Word, ask honest questions, and build lasting friendships. Through engaging Bible studies, fun activities, and mission experiences, Jason seeks to equip students to live out their faith boldly in today’s world.

Garrett Hall serves as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Spiritual Growth at First Baptist Church of Baldwin. He joined the staff with a deep desire to help believers grow in their walk with Christ and live out the gospel in daily life. His ministry focus is on building a culture of discipleship where people connect, mature, and multiply through the Word and meaningful relationships. Garrett grew up in Jacksonville and spent sixteen years in active-duty military service before returning home and joining the Baldwin community. He will graduate in December with a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and also serves as a Chaplain Candidate in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. His approach to ministry is shaped by a love for church history, a trust in God’s providence, and a conviction that discipleship happens best through humility, faithfulness, and service. He and his wife are grateful to raise their two children in the Baldwin area. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys playing guitar, working on his old truck, and spending quality time with his family. Garrett’s heartbeat for ministry is simple: to equip disciples who make disciples, believing that the church is at its healthiest when every believer is growing and serving for the glory of God. 

Bill Turner serves as the Associate Pastor of Senior Adult Ministries at First Baptist Church of Baldwin. His heart’s desire is to help senior adults discover their unique path of ministry and to encourage them in personally engaging in that special place of service God has prepared for them.
In addition to guiding our active senior adults, Pastor Bill provides ongoing support and regular contact with those who are homebound or no longer able to attend in person, ensuring they remain connected to the life and love of our church family.
Another key aspect of his ministry is reaching beyond our walls to connect with senior adults throughout our community. Through these efforts, FBC Baldwin seeks to strengthen and grow our ministry to seniors—bringing encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual renewal for the honor and glory of God.

Tyler Hodges serves as the Worship Leader at First Baptist Church of Baldwin, joyfully leading our congregation in Christ-centered, biblically sound worship. With a heart for glorifying God through music, Tyler is passionate about creating an atmosphere where people can worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).
Each Sunday, our worship services blend meaningful hymns and modern worship songs, focusing on exalting Christ, strengthening believers, and preparing hearts to receive God's Word. Tyler believes that worship is not just about music but about lifting high the name of Jesus and responding to His goodness with gratitude and praise.
Beyond leading Sunday worship, Tyler also disciples and equips the worship team, ensuring that every aspect of our worship ministry points to the gospel and edifies the church. Whether through singing, prayer, or Scripture, Tyler desires to help others grow in their love for God and express their faith through heartfelt worship.

Patti Mixson leads our Children’s Ministry with a heart for helping kids discover the love of Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging way. At First Baptist Church of Baldwin, we believe that children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), and our ministry is focused on teaching them biblical truths that will shape their faith for a lifetime. Through interactive lessons, music, and hands-on activities, kids learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way while building friendships and growing in their understanding of God’s Word.
