Hochevar whiffs batters, walks with God

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (BP)—When pitcher Luke Hochevar was chosen by the Kansas City Royals as the first overall pick in the 2006 draft, he had no problems letting his faith guide his answers to the questions the local media asked him.<br>       In his initial teleconference with the media, he spoke about praying on the day of the draft and he told them that God had a plan for him and the way things worked out for him to come to Kansas City.
