Choi rises to fame from humble beginnings

BETHESDA, Md. (BP)--K.J. Choi, humanly and spiritually speaking, seems destined for greatness on the PGA Tour.
      Even his favorite verse, John 15:16, bears witness to this: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.â€
      Think, for a moment, about the nondescript beginnings of many of the Bible’s greatest men. Moses was slow of speech. King David began as a shepherd. Many of Jesus’ disciples were fishermen. Considering his background, Choi, too, looks like a prime candidate to bring God much glory through a humble start.
